What’s the purpose of the Greater Works Empowerment Center? |

To provide a multi-purpose facility that will meet the spiritual, educational and career-oriented needs of the community. To include but not limited to: self improvement training & tutorial services.

How will the building be
structured inside? Will it be equipped for
the handicap? |
The
Greater Works Empowerment Center will be a two-story
4,200 square foot state of the art facility. The first
floor will include a bookstore, counseling center, and
conference room and reception area. The second floor
will be dedicated to administrative and ministerial
usage for the numerous ministries. There will be ample
parking in the rear of the building, and the facility
will be equipped with proper technical, audio and
computer equipment and services. Since all services and
activities are on the first floor, it has been tailored
to fit the needs of the handicapped and seniors, whereas
the 2nd floor is for administrative & ministry offices
only. |

What will the donations/pledges be
used for? |
Full construction of the Greater Works Empowerment center and parking facility. |
What’s in it for me? |
Resource networking, Information & Assistance with
educational, employment and technological programs. |

What services/programs will be
provided to the community? |
Job preparation, computer training, youth activities, senior resource and information center, and opportunities for community service. |
How will the programs/services benefit the teenagers? |
Teenagers would be able to participate in various youth related activities provided by the Greater Works Empowerment Center. Also, educational and career oriented training sessions would be available for those seeking career advancement and job promotion. |
Will there be a fee for any of the services/programs being offered? |
No. There are no fees associated with any services. |
What are the age limits? |
There are no age limits. |
Are there any programs offered for seniors? |
Yes. There will be numerous programs that will be available to serve the needs of the senior citizen community. The center will also serve as a resource
center for seniors. |
What days of the week will the center be available to members and/or the community? |
Normally, Monday – Friday, with special services or events scheduled as needed. |
When will the building be ready for use? |
Approximately July 2008 |
